Allow us to introduce the Procurement Manager at LCC Pakistan (PVT) Ltd- A Talkpool Company, Mr. Muhammad Shafiq. With an impressive career spanning over 22 years, Mr. Shafiq’s trajectory is a testament to his unwavering commitment and extensive expertise.

His story begins in 1993 when he assumed the role of Import Manager at ACP Oil Mills. For the following decade, he diligently navigated the complexities of import/export operations, acquiring invaluable insights that laid the groundwork for his future success. In 2003, Mr. Shafiq transitioned to DM Textile Mills, where he took on the responsibilities of Procurement and Import Manager until 2007. This pivotal period expanded his role and deepened his understanding of procurement strategies.

The year 2007 marked a significant chapter as Mr. Shafiq joined LCC Pakistan, solidifying a relationship that would endure for years to come. His association with various parent administrations, including LCC Inc (USA), Tech Mahindra (India), and TalkPool (Switzerland), afforded him a global perspective that enriched his approach to diverse markets.

As the leader of the Procurement Department, Mr. Shafiq manages a diverse team of 14 individuals spanning Procurement, IT support and logistics. His leadership style is characterized by motivation and collaboration, ensuring that his team is aligned with the overarching business objectives. Beyond the confines of traditional procurement roles, overseeing a monthly expenditure of PKR 6 million demonstrates meticulous financial management skills. The purview extends to market analysis, price trend monitoring, and evaluation of competitor strategies, strategically positioning LCC Pakistan in the market.

Mr. Shafiq’s responsibilities also extend to import/export operations, tailored to meet project requirements. He meticulously manages logistics services, ensuring the seamless transportation, packaging, and delivery of equipment between warehouses and project sites, all while exceeding customer expectations.
